Fabric recommendation | Lightweight cotton fabrics, poplin, muslin, denim, wool or baby corduroy are always a good choice for this cute dress. Of course, you can also sew the dress from stretchy fabrics such as velour or jersey. |

Line up the front and back skirt panels at the top edges and gather to the width of the top/back. Pin and sew the front skirt panel to the front piece, right sides facing. Pin the back of the skirt to the back piece, right sides facing. Sew shoulder seams. Lay the facing right sides together, topstitch at the neckline and hemline. Neckline Fold the bias tape in half lengthwise and iron, right side out. Pin the bias binding to the neckline with right sides together and topstitch to the width of the sewing foot. Turn the facing right side out. Shape the corners. Lay the bias tape on the inside. Iron the neckline and the facing. Topstitch the bias binding from the right side.
