Fabric selection | You can sew the hanger from practically any fabric - jeans, plaid wool, poplin, sweat or jersey - you can be as creative as you like. With stretchy fabrics, you can do without the lining and work the necklines with a cuff. For heavy fabrics such as jeans or wool, we recommend that you choose a lighter fabric in a similar color to shorten the dress. |

Sewing instructions | The seam allowances are not included in the pattern. Transfer the templates to the fabric. Draw 1 cm seam allowance all around and cut out all parts. Finish the outer edge of the ruffle. Lay the front piece on the back piece, right sides facing and sew the shoulder seams together. Pin and sew the ruffle to the armhole. Facing: Lay the front piece on the back piece, right sides together and sew the shoulder seams together. Pin the facing to the neckline, right sides facing. Mark the center of the back (fold in half) and mark the slit with a marking pen. Measure approx. 12 cm from the top edge of the fabric. Stitch the neckline, sewing approx. 2 mm on each side of the slit. Cut the slit to approx. 2 mm before the end. Close the side seams and hem the dress. That's it! Whether for the start of school, for kindergarten or for the next birthday party. ALISSA is a real all-rounder! |
