INSTRUCTIONS: Set your iron to a medium setting (approx. 150 degrees), without steam. It is best to wash the fabric before ironing or at least steam off the finish with the iron. By briefly ironing it hot and then letting it cool down again. Roughly cut out your desired iron-on pattern and place it on the fabric. Then place baking paper over it. This will prevent the foil from melting and sticking to the iron. Now press the iron onto the covered iron-on picture with full force for approx. 10 seconds. Do not move the iron back and forth, otherwise something could slip. You can move the iron several times and press again briefly so that every part of the motif is sufficiently pressed on. To prevent the foil from getting too hot, you should wait a few seconds in between. Repeat the pressing and cooling process until each part of the motif has been pressed once or twice. TIP: Ironing should be done on a firm surface. An ironing board is therefore unsuitable. A tiled floor or wooden board is ideal. Carefully remove the backing film while the iron-on image is still warm. It should be removed in the direction of the textile fibers. If the image is still not sticking, carefully apply more pressure at this point. Leave the plot to rest for at least 48 hours before washing or further processing the fabric.
