"Big Knit" is a coarse knit fabric made with the Brioche - Stitch process, which gives it its stretch. Brioche stitch is a thick, high, ribbed knitting pattern. It is made with an interlock - technique, where stitches from the previous row are knitted together with the current row. Its loose knit therefore gives the "Big Knit" tremendous stretch, and its unique construction and high cotton content makes it feel super nice to wear. It is therefore wonderful for sewing sweaters, cardigans, scarves, hats, blankets, pillows and much more.
